OPIE Platform — Digital Accessibility Statement
Version: 2026.1
Effective date: 30 June 2026
Last updated: 30 June 2026
1. Our commitment
OPIE Manufacturing Group Pty Ltd (“OPIE”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to making the OPIE Platform accessible to the widest possible audience.
We believe our websites, online stores, customer portals, configurators and digital services should be usable by people of all abilities and strive to continually improve accessibility as our platform evolves.
2. Scope
This statement applies to digital services operated by the OPIE Platform, including:
- OPIE Group websites;
- brand websites;
- online stores;
- customer portals;
- distributor portals;
- product configurators;
- AI-assisted knowledge services;
- digital documentation;
- future digital services operated by OPIE.
3. Accessibility standards
Where reasonably practicable, we aim to align our digital services with the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
Accessibility is considered throughout the design, development and maintenance of the OPIE Platform.
While we strive for broad accessibility, some third-party content or legacy material may not yet fully conform.
4. Our approach
We seek to improve accessibility by:
- designing clear and consistent navigation;
- supporting keyboard navigation where appropriate;
- maintaining readable colour contrast;
- using meaningful headings and page structure;
- providing alternative text for important images where appropriate;
- supporting modern screen readers and assistive technologies;
- designing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet and mobile devices;
- reviewing accessibility as new features are introduced.
Accessibility improvements form part of our ongoing platform development process.
5. Third-party services
Some parts of the OPIE Platform rely on third-party services, including payment providers, mapping services, embedded media and external integrations.
While we encourage our service providers to support accessibility, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party content that is outside our control.
6. AI-assisted services
AI-powered search, knowledge assistants and other AI features are designed to improve access to information.
These services complement — not replace — standard website navigation and published documentation.
Where practical, accessibility considerations are incorporated into the design and ongoing improvement of AI-assisted experiences.
7. Feedback
We welcome feedback regarding the accessibility of the OPIE Platform.
If you experience difficulty accessing any content or functionality, please let us know so we can investigate and, where reasonably practicable, improve the experience.
When contacting us, it is helpful to include:
- the webpage or feature involved;
- a description of the issue;
- the device and browser being used; and
- any assistive technology being used (if applicable).
8. Continuous improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process.
As the OPIE Platform evolves, we periodically review and improve our digital services to support a wider range of users, devices and assistive technologies.
We value customer feedback and use it to help prioritise future accessibility improvements.
9. Contact
Accessibility enquiries may be submitted using the contact details published in the OPIE Platform Trust Centre or via brand contact pages.
General platform enquiries: privacy@opiegroup.com.au (please include “Accessibility” in the subject line).
We will make reasonable efforts to respond to accessibility feedback and work towards practical improvements where appropriate.
