Version: 2026.1

Effective date: 30 June 2026

Last updated: 30 June 2026

1. Introduction

OPIE Manufacturing Group Pty Ltd (“OPIE”, “we”, “our”, “us”) upholds high standards of ethical conduct and respect for human rights across our operations and supply chains.

This statement sets out our approach to identifying and addressing modern slavery risks. The Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) requires certain larger entities to publish modern slavery statements. OPIE publishes this statement voluntarily to communicate our expectations to suppliers, partners and customers, and to reflect our commitment to ethical sourcing regardless of statutory reporting obligations.

2. Scope

This statement applies to:

  • OPIE Manufacturing Group operations;
  • OPIE Platform brands and digital services;
  • suppliers, contractors, subcontractors and business partners engaged by OPIE or its brands;
  • goods and services procured for manufacturing, distribution and platform operations.

3. Our commitment

OPIE is committed to preventing and addressing modern slavery risks throughout its operations and supply chain and does not knowingly tolerate modern slavery practices.

This includes, without limitation, opposition to:

  • forced or compulsory labour;
  • child labour;
  • debt bondage and exploitative recruitment;
  • involuntary servitude; and
  • other forms of exploitation or human trafficking.

4. Legal compliance

We expect suppliers and business partners to comply with applicable laws concerning anti-slavery and human trafficking practices, including the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) and equivalent laws in jurisdictions where they operate.

5. Supplier expectations

Ethical employment

Suppliers must ensure workers are employed voluntarily and treated fairly, including:

  • no use of forced or compulsory labour;
  • wages that meet applicable legal minimums and relevant industry benchmarks;
  • working hours that comply with applicable laws, with voluntary overtime.

Recruitment transparency

Recruitment processes must be transparent. Workers must not be charged recruitment fees (directly or indirectly) that lead to exploitative employment, and employment terms must be clear and understood by workers.

Health and safety

Suppliers are expected to provide a working environment that complies with applicable workplace health and safety laws and takes reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of workers.

Non-discrimination

Suppliers should provide workplaces that are free from unlawful discrimination, harassment and workplace abuse and respect the dignity of all workers.

Training and awareness

Relevant OPIE personnel and, where appropriate, suppliers are encouraged to maintain awareness of modern slavery risks and indicators so issues can be identified and addressed promptly.

6. Supply chain due diligence

OPIE seeks to understand and manage modern slavery risks within its supply chain through reasonable due diligence processes.

Depending on the nature of the goods or services supplied, this may include:

  • supplier onboarding assessments;
  • contractual commitments;
  • supplier questionnaires;
  • review of higher-risk suppliers or regions;
  • ongoing supplier engagement where appropriate.

7. Monitoring and enforcement

OPIE monitors supplier performance against our ethical sourcing expectations and may take further steps where concerns are identified.

Suppliers found to be non-compliant may be required to implement corrective action. Failure to remediate serious or repeated concerns may result in suspension or termination of the business relationship.

8. Procurement

Ethical sourcing forms part of OPIE’s procurement and supplier relationship practices. We seek to work with suppliers who share our commitment to lawful, ethical and responsible business conduct.

9. Reporting concerns
