1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of websites, online stores, customer portals, distributor portals, configurators and other digital services operated by OPIE Manufacturing Group Pty Ltd (“OPIE”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) and its subsidiary and associated companies.
By accessing or using any OPIE Platform website or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the website.
2. Scope
These Terms apply to:
- public websites and brand sites;
- online stores and checkout services;
- product configurators (including opieiq.com and brand-embedded configurators);
- customer and distributor portals;
- knowledge bases and help centres;
- AI-powered search, recommendations and assistance;
- product documentation, downloads and BIM resources;
- quotation, freight and order management tools;
- mobile-compatible services;
- any future digital services operated by OPIE.
These Terms apply whether or not you create an account, place an order or purchase products through the platform.
3. Lawful Use
You agree to use the OPIE Platform only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- break any applicable law or regulation;
- interfere with website or platform operation;
- disrupt or harm other users;
- attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data;
- upload malicious software or harmful code;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
- use false or misleading information;
- interfere with platform security or integrity.
4. Customer Accounts
Where accounts are provided you agree to:
- keep passwords and authentication credentials confidential;
- maintain accurate account and contact information;
- notify us promptly of unauthorised access or suspected compromise;
- accept responsibility for activity conducted using your account credentials.
We may suspend or terminate accounts used in breach of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
5. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure product and service information is accurate and current.
However:
- specifications, configurations and technical data may change without notice;
- colours, finishes and materials may differ from images due to display settings or manufacturing variation;
- dimensions may vary within normal manufacturing tolerances;
- images, renders and videos are illustrative unless expressly stated otherwise;
- availability, lead times and pricing may change;
- pricing or configuration errors may occur and may be corrected.
Nothing on the website constitutes a binding offer unless confirmed by OPIE in writing or through an accepted order process.
6. Product Configurators
Our configurators are provided to assist customers and distributors with product selection, layout and pricing.
Generated pricing, layouts, configurations, drawings, renders, recommendations and quotation outputs remain subject to engineering review, stock availability and commercial acceptance by OPIE.
Configuration results do not constitute engineering certification, structural approval or a guarantee of suitability for a particular application. You remain responsible for verifying suitability for your intended use.
7. AI Services
The OPIE Platform may provide AI-assisted functionality including:
- product recommendations and search;
- knowledge base and documentation responses;
- technical and sales assistance;
- quotation and configuration guidance;
- marketing and content assistance (internal and customer-facing where enabled).
AI outputs are intended to assist users only. They may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. Users remain responsible for verifying the suitability, accuracy and completeness of information before relying upon it for commercial, engineering, safety or purchasing decisions.

8. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property in the OPIE Platform and its content remains the property of OPIE Manufacturing Group Pty Ltd or its licensors.
This includes, without limitation:
- trademarks, trade names and logos;
- product names, photographs, videos and marketing materials;
- drawings, CAD files, BIM files and technical documentation;
- software, databases, source code and configurators;
- website design, layout and user interface elements;
- AI-generated content created by or for OPIE in connection with the platform.
No licence is granted except for normal access and use of the website and services in accordance with these Terms. You must not copy, scrape, reproduce or exploit platform content except as expressly permitted.
9. Downloads
Where downloads are provided (including documents, drawings, BIM exports and technical resources), they are supplied solely for legitimate evaluation, specification and business purposes connected with OPIE products.
You must not, without prior written permission from OPIE:
- redistribute or republish downloaded materials;
- modify materials for commercial resale;
- sell or sublicense platform content or exports;
- reverse engineer software, configurators or protected file formats.
10. User Content
Where users submit information including reviews, project files, CAD files, drawings, enquiries, quotes, support requests or other content, you warrant that you have authority to submit that information and that doing so does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law.
You grant OPIE a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce and process submitted information solely for providing requested services, operating the platform, responding to enquiries and improving our products and services.
11. Website Availability
We aim to keep our services available and perform maintenance with minimal disruption where practicable.
However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Services may be unavailable due to:
- planned or emergency maintenance;
- platform upgrades and deployments;
- security incidents or protective measures;
- internet, hosting or third-party service failures;
- force majeure events;
- actions taken to protect users, data or platform integrity.
12. Security
Users must not:
- attempt to bypass authentication or access controls;
- probe, scan or test vulnerabilities except as expressly permitted under our Vulnerability Disclosure Policy;
- scrape or harvest protected content without authorisation;
- use automated bots, scripts or agents without permission;
- overload, disrupt or degrade platform services;
- interfere with security monitoring, rate limits or protective controls.
Security incidents may be investigated, logged and reported to relevant authorities. Suspected abuse may result in suspension, termination and legal action.
13. Acceptable Use
Use of the OPIE Platform is also subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which sets out detailed operational rules regarding AI services, automated access, API use, scraping, security testing, bulk downloads, distributor and customer account conduct, and other platform restrictions.
You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy at all times when using the platform.
14. External Links
Our websites may contain links to third-party websites, tools or services.
We are not responsible for:
- third-party content, accuracy or availability;
- third-party security practices;
- third-party privacy or cookie practices.
Users access external websites and services at their own risk.
15. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is governed by our:
- Master Privacy Policy;
- Cookie Policy;
- applicable brand-specific privacy notices where published.

16. Purchases
Where products are purchased through the OPIE Platform, those purchases are additionally governed by:
- Terms of Sale (including returns, warranty and Australian Consumer Law guarantees);
In the event of inconsistency regarding a purchase, those documents prevail over these Website Terms to the extent of the inconsistency. See our Terms of Sale.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OPIE excludes liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive loss arising from use of the website or platform, including loss of profit, revenue, data or business opportunity.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of the website (other than in connection with a purchase governed by separate terms) is limited to AUD $100 or the minimum amount permitted by law, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation, including the Australian Consumer Law.
18. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to any part of the platform where:
- these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy are breached;
- unlawful or harmful activity is suspected;
- platform security, data or other users are threatened;
- maintenance, investigation or legal compliance requires it;
- accounts are inactive for extended periods where applicable policies provide for closure.
Suspension or termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations, including payment obligations for confirmed orders.
19. Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology or platform operation.
Updated versions become effective when published on the OPIE Platform Trust Centre unless otherwise stated. Material changes may be highlighted on the website where practicable.
Continued use of the platform after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights available under applicable consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction of residence where those rights cannot be excluded.
